The Story

Bosheuvel Country Estate was founded in 2002 by Mitch and Juanita Van Den Bos in Nooitgedacht on the outskirts of Johannesburg. From humble beginnings the farm now has a prized Pinzgauer cattle stud, free range pigs and sheep with an on-site abattoir and Deli, a restaurant "Cattleman's Kitchen", a Boutique Hotel, conference rooms, a variety of venues and much more.

The Bosheuvel Deli supplies a variety of different farm made cheeses, poultry, meat as well as other farm produce. Pinzgauer cattle were specifically introduced due to the quality of its meat in terms of taste, tenderness, marbling and flavour. Our various  meat products are prepared with care and dedication to ensure that only the best cuts do justice to our ‘Farm to Fork’ style.

The Bosheuvel brand has developed into a fully-fledged stud farm - breeding and hosting Pinzgauer cattle of the highest calibre. Bosheuvel Cattle Options are an opportunity for investors to purchase their own Pinzgauer cattle that can be hosted on the farm. The farm grows herbs, indigenous trees, manufactures organic compost, produces honey, breeds free range pigs and sheep and has a feedlot.  If you are interested in live stock there is a monthly auction offering a variety of live stock and farm implements.

Our restaurant Cattleman's Kitchen is a rare gem, we pride ourselves on our warm friendly service where our saying is always "Welcome Home!"  We have an extensive menu offering meals "Straight from the farmer" that caters to all needs. Set in a beautiful garden offering kids entertainment and a family friendly environment.  An on-site Microbrewery offers a variety of craft beer and provides a unique experience for guests.

Additionally we have a nine bedroom on suite Boutique Hotel for overnight stays and a variety of venues for functions.  A separate events menu offers delicious catering options whether you are in the wine cellar, at Kelly's View, on the Deck, utilizing our conference faculties, seated in the large atrium or just in the gardens we can make your event unique.
