General Terms and Conditions

Fees and Deposits

Applicable to both Catered and Self Catered events/venues:

  • 50% of the venue hire fee to be paid up front with the balance 2 weeks before your function.
  • Venue Fees are non-refundable if cancelled.
  • No beverages are permitted to be brought in to Bosheuvel Estate without prior arrangement with management. This may be limited to specific beverages, wine or non-alcoholic juice only (Corkage fees apply)
  • Service staff; waiters, barmen and runners are quoted separately
  • Extra facilities such as live entertainment, decor or equipment is quoted separately to the venue hire fee.
  • Venue hire fees are subject to change at any time.

Venue Hire - Catered

Catered venue packages may include the following amenities:

  • The facility, cutlery, crockery, tables, chairs, basic table linen, glassware.
  • Service staff for catered venue hire are quoted separately.

Venue Hire - Self Catering

Self catered venue hire only includes the facility, tables and chairs.

  • An additional refundable deposit of R1500 must be paid up front in full. Deposit is refunded if venue is left clean and in good condition
  • Cash bar only - If a beverage is found that was brought in, your party will be removed from the premises, forfeiting your deposit refund.
  • Service staff for self catered venue hire are quoted separately.
  • We do not supply table linen or decor, extra facilities such as live entertainment, decor or equipment is quoted separately to the venue hire fee.
  • Other amenities, such as cutlery, crockery, table linen and glassware hire for self catered events is not included and can be quoted separately, based on your requirements.
